My PERFECT Dentist--------- ?

Question:

A Novocain IV??? Isn't that supposed to be injected as a local anesthetic >only? Absobloodylutely! I wonder if that dentist still is licensed to even practice? There are certainly analgesics that can be adminned IV---- but novo or lido aren't those type!! They are, as yo said, to be given as direct local injections.

Answer: Nothing serious except he tried to kill me...had a lot of extensive teeth work done. He used a new type of Novocain on me...shoots it into the bloodstream said I would not feel any pain at all...yeah right no pain...it shot my blood pressure up to the max, everything started going black and I passed out and almost died in the chair. I was lucky because his office was in the bottom part of the hospital. I came around with the staff of the emergency room standing over me.....Never went back to him...

Genetics had a lot to do with my teeth. I acquired all of my Dad's bad points and joints......Do love that smile you have now.... Unfortunately when this happened I never thought of suing. I never let things get me down in the mouth for very long.

He did inject it into my gum....he just happened to hit a blood vessel and it went straight to my heart....took me a long, long time to trust again......I don't like being hurt.......

Oh! yes already have here in Raleigh...He is a dentist that does not believe in pain for the patient of any kind.....He actually kept asking me if I was okay...and if I said no it hurt or anything at all....he'd stopped for a minute and let me get composed and than start again, he's also very patient with children. He is our family Dentist now.....took a long time to find him. I told him about the other experience and he said that he used this stuff too, but he said not on me if I did not want it.
