Question:
I've just moved to rural West Virginia and the closest "big city" is
Parkersburg, WV. There are only 28 dentists in the yellow pages. (I
guess there's not a big demand!) I hate to just blindly pick a name and
am hoping that one of you might know one of these guys (or gals) or
maybe heard of them? Any chance of that? I sure would appreciate a
recommendation. I've listed them below.
If you don't mind, I've another question. My new position is providing
Acordia dental insurance. Doesn't appear to be that great. 100%
preventive services. 80% basic. 50%major... $1000 annual maximum. Is
there supplemental insurance that one can purchase to pay for that 20 or
50% that wouldn't be covered?

That level of policy is very good. Unfortunately, most plans are most
lacking in the annual maximum department. Annual maximums have not changed
much in 30 years.
As an individual, there is NO decent and affordable plan to buy.
