Question:
I am having difficulty finding certain dental supplies - having been to two
pharmacies and two large supermarkets.
Can you recommend any dental supply stores as an alternative where a
"non-dentist" can make purchases of items such as Dentemp or Temp-bond?
My residence is in Southern California - or more specifically San Diego
County.
Answer:

Here maybe?

Or get half an old dried out tube from some dentist ...... for ten
bucks or so.

Product Name : Temp-Bond
Manufacturer : Kerr
Description : Temp-Bond temporary cement for trial cementing
restorations or cementing temporary crowns and bridges, flows easily,
allowing complete seating of the restoration. Temp-Bond withstands
mastication, seals the restoration, and prevents seepage, yet affords
easy removal when desired.
Temp-Bond NE is a non-eugenol temporary cement that will not inhibit
the polymerization of resin cements and acrylic temporaries. It
provides the same flow and retentive properties of Temp-Bond.
There apparently are no Shop-Rite's in San Diego County.
Bummer as I was so looking forward to some tasty Empire Kosher Chicken.
Looks like I am left with the Internet and a loose 4-tooth bridge for up to
one more week.
